The Bloomington Multicultural Expo will celebrate - through entertainment, food and activities - the diverse populations living in Bloomington. With the participation of a myriad of cultural organizations, performers and musicians representative of our community, the Expo promoted appreciation and respect for the value and strength of a diverse community.
Included in the festivities was five dynamic cultural villages including: Soul Food Festival Village, Festival Latino Village, Moon Festival Village, Native American Village, and International Festival Village. The International Festival Village celebrated and highlight people and cultures from around the world. Each village provided children's activities including plenty of fun, educational opportunities for children to explore the wonders of diversity. Several villages offered delicious international and ethnic foods, where festival-goers could purchase and taste foods from around the world. A varied line-up of musicians, dancers and performers enliven Bryan Park and delight the Expo audience.
