Community Health Programs and Outreach

The City of Bloomington collaborates with Bloomington Hospital and other community health partners to provide free Health and Wellness Fairs in our community. Health screenings and educational booths on health and safety are amongst the many resources available at health fairs, which allow health care providers to reach as many people as possible by offering free health screenings and health-related materials. Heath fairs inform participants about the resources available to them in their community. Health and wellness fairs educate community members about healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, and promote health awareness and individuals assuming responsibility for their own health. For more information or opportunities for collaboration, please contact Nancy Woolery, Health Projects Manager for the City of Bloomington, at wooleryn@bloomington.in.gov or 812-349-3581.
