Supervisor - Winslow Sports Complex/Olcott Park

Position Description

Supervise programs, personnel, spectators, and use of facility. Enforce departmental policies; prepare reports; do periodic trash pickup and restroom sanitation; request supplies and report maintenance problems to Youth Sports Coordinator; provide assistance to any injured spectator or participant; serve as an information and public relations resource for the Parks and Recreation Department; submit accurate bi-weekly payroll; other duties as required.

Education

High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Some college preferred.

Experience/Special Skills

Ability to work well with people; ability to think quickly and exercise good judgment; must be self-motivated. Some experience supervising recreation programs and facilities desired.

License/Certification

Successful completion of CPR and First Aid certification required. Training available through the Parks and Recreation Department if needed.

Hours

10-20 hours per week, weekdays and weekends, 4:30-11 p.m. mid-March through October

Salary

$9.36-$10.37 per hour
