This year's Fourth of July Parade takes place Saturday, July 4. The Parade is hosted by Bloomington Parks and Recreation and Downtown Bloomington, Inc. and is sponsored by The American Legion Burton Woolery Post 18.

Submit a Parade Application

We encourage all kinds of entries, including floats, bands and musical groups, walking groups, equestrian groups, classic cars, and other entries that show your patriotism and love for the Bloomington community. Applications to participate in the Fourth of July Parade are being accepted electronically.

Applications are due Monday, June 15 at 5 p.m. /$25 entry fee

Fourth of July Fourth of July Concert

Join friends and neighbors on the Monroe County Courthouse lawn for entertaining performances by local musicians and of course the annual parade! The parade and festivities are brought to the Bloomington community by Bloomington Parks and Recreation and Downtown Bloomington Inc. and are sponsored by the American Legion Burton Woolery Post 18.
