Garlic Mustard Pull and Taste

Invasive species are one of the most prominent threats to our native ecosystems. Start off Earth Week by providing a helping hand to the forests of Griffy Lake Nature Preserve. Participants will learn to identify and eradicate the edible invasive garlic mustard plant. Recipes and tasting of a garlic mustard-based food will be provided! Please come prepared to be outdoors and hike at least a mile. Waterproof shoes are recommended. For all ages.

Celebrate Earth Day on the water at Griffy Lake! This guided paddle travels the Griffy shoreline by canoe. We'll stop along the way to identify native plants and animals. Canoes, paddles, and pfds are provided. For all ages; children under the age of 14 yrs. must be accompanied by a registered adult.
