Welcome to the City of Bloomington's 2012 Citizens' Academy
The HAND Department developed the Citizens' Academy in 1999 to encourage civic involvement. Through sessions with City Departments, partcipants learn about the challenges of city government, budget limitations, day-to-day operations and mandates in this fund and educatinal 9-week program.
This year's 2012 Citizens' Academy session will begin Thursday, August 16 and runs through October 11.
This year we are addressing City of Bloomington's sustainability goals by featuring the materials and information for class online. You can access each week's session materials by clicking on that session.
