Farmers' Market Prepared Food Vendors
The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from interested local businesses, organizations and individuals to manage all aspects of a Prepared/Processed Food and Beverage Vending (PFV) stall at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings during the 2013 Market season.
Most PFV's are located on the Market Plaza on the B-Line Trail.
To select the PFV who will best serve the Market, the City uses a request for proposal (RFP) process. Proposals will be evaluated by a review committee that includes Market staff and Farmers' Market Advisory Council members using the criteria established in the RFP including menu, price, product balance, customer satisfaction, use of local products and location of business (with preference given to Monroe County businesses).
The submission deadline is Monday, February 4, 2013 by 5 p.m. No late proposals will be accepted.
