The City of Bloomington Community Farmers' Market opens at 8 a.m. on April 6 and will run every Saturday through the end of November. More information about produce availability, entertainment and special events can be found on the Farmers' Market's website.

New BPD officer sworn in at City Hall

The City of Bloomington is proud to introduce new BPD officer Kevin Frank. Kevin was sworn in on Nov. 27, 2012 in the City Council Chambers. This is yet another demonstration of the City's commitment to public safety and the community's quality of life.

Shelter wins 2 prizes in ASPCA Challenge

The Bloomington Animal Shelter has saved enough lives since August 1 to win $5,000 from the ASPCA. They've also won the $2,000 photo contest with this picture of Reese. Congratulations to the staff, volunteers and adopters who made this possible!
