El Departamento de Servicio de Información y Tecnología (ITS como sus siglas en Inglés) Ayuda a las personas de Bloomington haciendo con eficacia que el rendimiento de la información tecnológica del gobierno de la Ciudad sea nuestra mayor prioridad.

En ITS nos encargamos de:
- Administrar el sistema de Infraestuctura en la comunicación de la Ciudad, tanto en ordenadores como en el sistema de softwear.
- Contribuimos con la economía de la ciudad a través del Sistema digital subterráneo de Bloomington
- Mantener el portal Web de la ciudad y desarrollar y abrir Fuentes aplicables a facilitar e-gobierno.
- Administrar el sistema de la Ciudad de geografía e información (GIS como sus siglas en Inglés) y proveer mapas y servicio de documentos
- Coordinar IT compras para la Ciudad y proveer IT entrenamiento al personal de la Ciudad.
- Mantener y reparar los ordenadores y resolver cualquier problema relacionado con las computadoras de los empleados de la Ciudad
- Atraer la atención de la comunidad de Bloomington a través de la colaboración de proyectos, programas y servicios.
