Bi-Weekly Yard Waste Pickup

November 2, 2015 through December 24, 2015

On your regular yard waste collection day, you may set out leaves bagged in biodegradable/paper bags for collection WITHOUT the green yard waste tag. All other yard waste must be tagged as usual.

Green: Compost your Leaves!

Recycling your leaves by composting is the greenest way to both reduce waste and create useful fertilizer for you yard. It's natural, easy, and requires almost no maintenance and can be done in any number of ways. Plus, the leaves you compost can be used as mulch or as a valuable nutrient in your soil. For more information on composting, visit http://www.epa.gov/composting.

If you should have any questions or comments on our leaf collection program, please call our office between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday or email us at workmand@bloomington.in.gov.
