We are working hard to provide residents, visitors and city staff with useful tools for mobile devices. We are also keen to support emerging standards like Open311 and to share our application code with others. Here are some things we are working on.

Bloomington.app is an Open311 mobile constituent issue reporting app. This is a Bloomington-only application.

GeoReporter Open311 Client App (iOS & Android)

GeoReporter is the open sourc version of the "Bloomington" app above. It allows users to connect to any city's Open311 GeoReport V.2 servers to report constituent issues. This app supports the following cities:

GeoReporter Open311 Client App & Google Summer of Code 2012

The City of Bloomington was accepted as a 2012 Google's Summer of Code organization. With the help of Google funding we worked with interns to complete the Android version of the GeoReporter apps for mobile use.
