21st Century Policing Report and BPD Open Meetings

The Final Report of the President's Task Force on 21st Century Policing is a document that provides a number of recommendations on ways to improve overall police and citizen relationships. In 2016, the Bloomington Police Department conducted a thorough review of its progress related to the recommendations and prepared a report for public review. That report is listed here and the Department will hold open meetings for those who may want to hear more about it or ask questions about its implementation.

The public meetings will be on Wednesday, March 1st and Monday, March 6th at 6:30 p.m. They will be held at BPD Headquarters located at 220 E. Third Street. The meeting will also be available via Facebook Live through the BPD Facebook Page. To read the report, click here.
