About the Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs

The Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs works to identify and research the issues which impact the Hispanic and Latino populations in Bloomington, especially in the areas of health, education, public safety and cultural competency.

The Commission's responsibilities include:

Statutory Authority: Bloomington City Council Ordinance 07-21

All Commission meetings are open to the public and are held the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm in the McCloskey conference room at City Hall
