Suicide Prevention Coalition
Mission: The Monroe County Suicide Prevention Coalition of dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people at risk and those impacted by suicide.
Membership to the Monroe County Suicide Coalition is open to service providers, representatives from local communities of faith, law enforcement and other organizations concerned with the reduction of incidents of suicide in our community and reducing the stigma associated with suicide. The coalition meets the 4th Thursday of each month in Showers City Hall. Current members of the Suicide Prevention Coalition represent the following organizations and agencies:
