This Amateur Softball Association (ASA)-sanctioned league is designed to accommodate all levels of play.

All ASA rules apply with the exception of house rules that are stated in the Manager's Manual. (PDF 227.45 KB)

All teams that register and pay the full team fee by the registration deadline will be entered into a drawing to win a bat or set of uniform shirts from Worth Sports and Bloomington Parks and Recreation.

Men's and Women's Leagues: $720 for 12 games
Co-rec Leagues: $675 for 10 games

Registration and fee payment schedule:
June 22-July 15-Submit either online or paper registrations with tentative rosters AND a minimum of half of the league fee.

League placements take place July 16. Division assignments will be posted on this Web site by 5 p.m. Thursday, July 16. Teams may contact Tim Fulton at 812-349-3742 or fultont@bloomington.in.gov with questins regarding league placements until 5 p.m. Friday, July 17. After 5 p.m. July 17, all league placements are final.

Schedule distribution takes place July 27-31. Final rosters and remaining fees are due upon receiving schedule. Play begins August 3!

Divisions/Days

Day of Play Division
Sunday Co-Rec SH-I, SH-II, WH-I, WH-II and WH-III
Co-Rec SH (Strong Hand) means the men participating may bat with their normal batting hand, either right- or left-handed. Co-Rec WH (Weak Hand) means that the men participating may only bat with their opposite batting hand. Also, the opposing team may request that the umpire "turn the male batter", meaning that if they feel the man is too strong, they may ask the umpire move him to the opposite side of the plate.
Monday Men's Rec B, Women's Upper and Men's 35 & Over
Tuesday Men's Rec 4D, 3D, 2D and D (Monday is secondary league night)
Wednesday Men's Rec A, Men's Rec C
Thursday Men's Comp, Men's Rec E, Women's Lower
Friday All weeknight divisions have the possibility of Friday night games.
