Criteria:

Through their contributions, nominees have been an influential role model, advocate for services and the rights for Latinos, and have shown continuous direct and effective involvement in the Latino community. This award seeks to recognize organizations in the following key areas:

  • Leadership- Through exemplary leadership, has contributed towards a specific goal or objective that has benefited the Latino community and/or has been a role model in their profession/work.
  • Initiative- Continually responds to new and changing needs of the community
  • Advocacy- Campaigns for issues that promote the inclusion and well-being of the Latino community.
  • Dedication- Works on issues and seeks solutions to problems based on the needs of the professional and/or Latino community, not based on its own self interests.
