Mrs. Curry would like to have No Parking on both sides of Azalea Lane from Highland Avenue to Erin Court. The subdivision covenants/restrictions prohibit parking on the street but is not effective. The street is too narrow to have parking and through traffic.
Due to efforts to calm traffic on Hawthorne and Maxwell traffic has increased considerably on Sheridan and Southdowns. Please provide both immediate (temporary) and long term tools to calm traffic to avoid a car hitting a pedestrian, biker, etc. on the bike paths on the same road.
Carnes was upset by the median placed in front of Dr. Steele's Office. She almost hit it on Oct. 14, 2003.
across the road from 1118 S. Woodlawn and along the fence line behind Carlisle Brake Plant there is weed/tree overgrowth blocks yellow pedestrian sign stating "20 MPH" zone south of Bryan Park and east of Templeton School zone.
The hedge at 1122 South Rogers is causing a hazard because drivers coming off of Davis cannot see around it.

For motorists traveling south on Hawthorne, a 'long haired' bush on the north side of First St, just east of Hawthorne, obscures view of cars traveling west on First St. I travel this way each day and have had close calls when surprised by a westbound car as I was turning left on First when I thought it was clear to do so.
Traffic on Patterson crossing Rogers is backed up. The East/West light has always been too long, but with Tapp closed, it is even worse. North/South traffic could have a longer green without interrupting other lights.
