Too many cars, dump trucks, and even school buses are speeding on W. 17th St. west of the roundabout to the hill. Sometimes they're going in excess of 20 mph above the posted speed limit (which is 25 going east and 30 going west). Plus many of the vehicle, particularly motorcycles, have terrible mufflers that far exceed the noise specified by the Bloomington noise ordinance. It's unbearable at times (not exaggerating). I can't even hold a conversation on my front porch. And other neighbors are awakened every night by the noise. Many of the very many dump trucks going north/south on Monroe St., around the roundabout, and west/east on 17th St. are speeding (not just 6 miles over); many need to get their exhaust pipes fixed (very noisy); and many are polluting--so violating speed, noise, and environmental regulations. Plus, stone, bits of concrete, etc. are dropping off their trucks, particularly in and around the roundabout. I think--but don't know for sure--that the trucks are going in/out of the Tri-North Middle School project. They are different trucking companies (some worse than others), including A+ Performance, Crider, Burke, and Young. Can something be done?

At the intersection of E 3rd St and College Mall Rd motorists headed west on E 3rd St and turning south onto College Mall Rd often crowd into the intersection as their light turns yellow and then red. They then are blocking the intersection so that people traveling east on East 3rd are blocked from proceeding. Today they blocked the intersection for almost he entire duration of the green light for those traveling East on 3rd St. My suggestion is to post an officer at this intersection and ticket persons who are blocking the intersection when the light for the eastbound cars on 3rd St turns green.

Backups on N. Smith continue for left turners. Particular concern that the State is not putting in a signal at 10th and Smith with new eastside developments. Left turners from N. Smith already yield instead of stop, creating dangers, because of inability to frankly stop due to small gaps in traffic. A signal or other traffic measure for safe left turns from N. Smith is needed. People will be using that gateway to get to the new hospital site. Same with buses. May be State intersection but City needs to advocate appropriately. Plenty of capacity exists on 10th, IF you can get onto it. Correct this danger before needless deaths occur.

Someone this past weekend dumped a box springs in the middle of Wilson Street between Grant and Palmer. I moved it off the street, but could you send a truck and pick it up?

Re: report #158470 A commercial trailer parked along S. Laurel Court. This was referred to RaeAnne? and has subsequently been marked resolved. Am I too assume that this trailer and pickup truck are parked legally? It was there this morning and clearly impedes visibility while driving around it. It is parked right across from the mail boxes making it even more concerning. Thanks for looking into this issue.

a black lexus continues to speed through sherwood oaks on allendale towards winslow. four times now this vehicle has tailgated then passed me on this neighborhood street. license plate number 218CAZ. the car drives through between 7:35am and 7:50am when I'm driving my daughter to school.
