Alley on the north side of 112 W 6th Street, Bloomington IN: there is a guardrail installed, the base is utterly deteriorated, very loose to the touch, poses a danger to pedestrians and any vehicular traffic brave enough to use the ease and/or north alley. Needs to be repaired. Thank you.
I have in front of my house the remnants of a speed bump design that wasn't effective. What is left are two very small speed bumps in the center of the road. Unfortunately, the width of the space between the end of the bump and the curb in front of my house is just wide enough for a car to pass through to avoid the bump entirely. I will say comfortably 50-75 percent (this is a conservative figure) of the traffic does not slow down, and swings into that gap between the speed bump and the curb to pass by. The road in this area in front of my house has had to be repaired at least three times, and it is a hazard for pedestrians on the sidewalk to be in that proximity to the cars at speed. I also have to go through that section of the yard and pick out all the asphalt chunks that have been broken off the road and flipped into my yard before I cut the grass. It is a significant amount. I would like to ask that a speed bump that extends across the road be considered here, much like the ones on Maxwell Drive. Is there anything you can do here? I've included a picture for context. Hello. There is a dual drainage grate system in the middle of Blair Ave just before W 12th Court heading North. It looks as if the grates are sinking and are going to fall into the hole under them. There is major damage and erosion of the structural integrity of the cement and asphalt surrounding the grates and across the entire street. There is exposed metal bars that drivers swerve to miss to protect their cars putting humans and parked vehicles at risk. Can you please help? Thank you for all that you do!

When the curb between the bike lane and car lane was reconstructed gaps were left in the pavement. Generally the pavement repair was not done to the standard usually expected of Bloomington roads.

CBU utility repair project in street several months ago was never completed. Street is now crumbling.
Street is down to the gravel layer in large areas along E Cedarwood Cir between E Cedarwood Dr and Claybridge Dr. The road will not hold up under this winter's snow plowing. Please re-pave or, at the very least, patch the road here. This problem was reported in spring and no action was taken by the city. The problem is a LOT worse now that it was in the spring.
