The dumpster here has been overfill since Friday, trash is blowing in the neighborhood
The AMc theatre on the east side off of College Mall Road is rife with trash and litter that is starting to spread onto the public sidewalks and elsewhere.
Trash still not taken out (week four, at least). Recycling cart full of trash. One bag on front porch has come open, spilling out food trash, which blows into others’ yards. This is not safe, and not cool. City says it’s monitoring, but it would seem not.
Trash on this lot, also the drain on Kirkwood is completely obstructed
Trash in the drainage ditch here.
Trash and tires everywhere on this lot.
There is a homeless camp adjacent to the BLine trail at N Adams street that needs cleaning. There is trash everywhere and the firetrucks and police have been called to the area multiple times. The camp is south of the Bline trail and railroad tracks. Thank you.
When walking southbound on the Jackson Creek Trail, just south of Winslow, there are a couple houses up on the hill to the left (located on Linden Hill Drive, or maybe Ashwood?) where various items have washed down into the ravine from backyards. This includes stairs, and what looks like portions of small decks. This is particularly noticeable now that the trees are bare. The homeowners should really be asked to clean this up, and prevent these objects from ending up the creek.
Trash from dumpster and donations left are littered throughout property and along Diamond Ave., W. Cottage Grove, Morevac Way and B-Line trail. The dumpster needs to be removed, contained or relocated. If the sources of litter are better managed the city wouldn’t appear so trashy. Homeowners and businesses need to be held accountable for the trash in our city generated from their properties. We should strive to do better. Maybe the next administration will take charge and help us get back to the beautiful Bloomington we used to have.
