A few minutes ago, a white dump truck without City emblems stopped in front of my house. Two men got out and shoveled the leaves from the drain in front of my house and across the street into the drains. I thought we weren’t supposed to put leaves in the drain. The drain in front of my house is my adopt-a-drain, so it didn't have many leaves but the one across the street had more.

Hello, My home sits at the bottom of an incline where the water in the neighborhood drains onto our driveway and property. Every time it rains the water causes erosion on the property and flooding to our garage and yard. Not only is the un-directed water effecting us, but is also causing the road to erode where water is standing on the asphalt. As well as eroding neighbors propertys and driveway, which then end up in front of our home puddled in the street,(water,gravel,soil). A solution could be installing curbs and catchment drains in the surrounding area to better direct the water from causing more damage to ours and neighboring properties. For years there has been a strong sewer smell in the this area. (I have paid for plumbers to examine my house and the problem is not in the house.) As the cable workers have been laying the cable, I asked various if they also smelled the sewer odor and if they knew where it might be coming from. There were three basic answers: (1) A "lift station" in one of the drains may be faulty; (2) the terrain where sewage may back up at the crest of the hill; and (3) the manhole cover between houses at 909 West Gourley Pike is old and may be corroded so that the sewer gas is able to escape.

Storm drain casement junction is clogged with branches. You can see it through the heavy iron grid on the drain at the SW corner of Southdowns and Ballantine. It will require lifting the grid cover the clear out.

As of 5:30pm 1/30/24 the storm drains on the southeast corner of Henderson and University (on both sides of the corner) are completely blocked with dirt and debris. Not possible for someone walking by to clear. Some of the other storm drains on this corner may benefit from clearing. Thank you. -C

The storm drain at Dunn and E. 7th is broken and it appears to have structural damage. The street is starting to cave in.

The storm grate in the 300 block of 7th street is broken and the structural integrity of the drain appears to be somewhat compromised. The concreate around the drain is severely damaged. This is a fairly new drain so I'm a bit surprised that it has broken so quickly.

A large storm inlet on the east side of S Sare road is blocked with debris. This inlet is ~30ft south of the intersection of Sare and Spicewood ln and is located between the public path and a private fence. It is near where the retaining wall / green chain link fence starts. This is not a street level inlet.
