Please see ticket 192286, this issue was not fixed yet and the hole continues to grow.
Nasty pothole here on Grimes. Looks more like a collapsed drain than a pothole tbh.
I have in front of my house the remnants of a speed bump design that wasn't effective. What is left are two very small speed bumps in the center of the road. Unfortunately, the width of the space between the end of the bump and the curb in front of my house is just wide enough for a car to pass through to avoid the bump entirely. I will say comfortably 50-75 percent (this is a conservative figure) of the traffic does not slow down, and swings into that gap between the speed bump and the curb to pass by. The road in this area in front of my house has had to be repaired at least three times, and it is a hazard for pedestrians on the sidewalk to be in that proximity to the cars at speed. I also have to go through that section of the yard and pick out all the asphalt chunks that have been broken off the road and flipped into my yard before I cut the grass. It is a significant amount. I would like to ask that a speed bump that extends across the road be considered here, much like the ones on Maxwell Drive. Is there anything you can do here? I've included a picture for context. Thank you very much for your help. Rose Johnson
Street is down to the gravel layer in large areas along E Cedarwood Cir between E Cedarwood Dr and Claybridge Dr. The road will not hold up under this winter's snow plowing. Please re-pave or, at the very least, patch the road here. This problem was reported in spring and no action was taken by the city. The problem is a LOT worse now that it was in the spring.
This sidewalk is a mess with missing parts.
Multiple street signs and a fire hydrant were defaced with spray paint between 06-07 September. This is unusual behavior for the neighborhood.
We had trees fall down onto our driveway during a storm. The trees themselves are not from our property and are from the city property right next to us. We moved them over as much as we could so that we could access our driveway, but the fallen trees are quite large and will need to be hauled away.
My name is Nick Pejeau, and I'm an IU Health employee representing our Trauma Services Community Outreach program, Stepping On. The program seeks to reduce fall risks for elderly adults. One of our class participants reported concerns for fall hazards due to unearthing and uneven sidewalks in their neighborhood where they walk to the grocery. They did not give me an exact location but said, "The first one is on Kinser Pike, somewhere between N Skyline Dr and W Parrish Rd., I think. The second one, the one with cane for scale, is on W Parrish Rd. between Kinser Pike and Kroger." I've attached the picture they submitted to me. Thank you.
The curb at the corner of Landmark and Arch Haven is very steep, about 3 inches of rise at an angle probably close to 70°. Landmark Ave has many medical facilities and this path is the one people would travel on between Adams and 3rd St where transit vehicles provide access. It should be smoothed out to provide a safer ramp for people with mobility devices and unsure footing.
