Blocked Sidewalk

201 S Jefferson ST

Case Date:
10/29/2018

The pedestrian walk between Jefferson and Roosevelt where Fourth St. would be if it continued between these two streets is partially blocked at the Jefferson end by vegetation, including a young redbud tree. I reported this about a month ago, and nothing has been done. Could someone at least please tell me if and when the walk is going to be cleared, and if not, why not? As far as I know, it's a public walkway.

Excessive Growth

Case Date:
10/29/2018

Hello, I manage Winslow Farm Community Association. The owners in Sweetbriar are complaining about homeless living in the woods between their houses and Graham Drive. This area is actually owned by the City - parcels numbers 53-08-09-405-010.000-009 and 53-08-09-405-009.000-009. Could the City please clear out the brush so it's not easy for people to hide here? Thank you for your time, Carole

Location: 2226 S. Sweetbriar Circle Dead and damaged trees are hanging over near the sidewalk and retaining wall. They appear to be ready to fall and pose a risk to sidewalk pedestrian traffic, as well as nearby homes. Please remove trees or as much of them as possible to avoid any potential issues. Yard Waste

Case Date:
10/29/2018

I own the home at 3821 W Tapp Rd. I am rehabbing it. The home to my left if you're looking at the home (3811 W Tapp Rd) has been a problem. The owners daughters husband has let a large amount of trash accumulate in the front and side yard. Dan has also stolen items out of the home that we are rehabbing. On multiple occasions there has been trash on our property. There is still trash hanging over the fence into our yard. I have asked Dan and the owner multiple times to clean up the trash and get it off of our property. Dan will not respond to my phone calls or txt. We will be listing the property in a week. I have had enough with the disregard they have displayed for us.

Parking Lines around the Courthouse The parking lines around the courthouse square have faded to almost nothing. As someone who parks on the square regularly this has become somewhat of a challenge to navigate. I have received a parking ticket for being on line, my car has been damaged because people park on or over the line and then spots become too cramped, and I really don't like getting nasty letters left on my wind shield because someone else parked outside the lines which causes all us that come after are forced to do it! Not looking forward to parking this winter.

Scooters, Bike-share and Related Issues

100 West Kirkwood Avenue

Case Date:
10/29/2018

The "dismount zones" are not working. They never did work, and now the scooters are an even bigger hazard. I see people riding them on the sidewalks around the square every day. If riders can't be bothered to care on their own, maybe we need some enforcement personnel out there to make them care. If we can have parking meter patrols, then surely we can have sidewalk patrols with authority to issue citations.
