Push Place looks like it hasn't had any maintenance since it was created in 1990. It's rusting and the ground covering is disintegrating. I tried looking in the Parks and Rec master plan to see whether there were any plans to upgrade it. But that plan is almost unreadable. When you zoom in to enlarge the letters, you can only see the middle of each of the displayed pages. You say it's a community park, but it doesn't get the kind of attention that other community parks get. This is two complaints: 1) about the condition of the playground and 2) about the condition of your web site.

I have been told it is legal to harvest a deer with a crossbow, on your private property, within city limits in Bloomington. I understand the appropriate state license and deer tag are a requirement when performing any hunt. Is this allowed? I cannot find the information online, nor any instruction. Can you provide this direction or point me to the correct point of contact? Thank you very much.

We are located at 2909 E Buick Cadillac Blvd. - Dr. J. Blue Davis's dental office. The property adjoining ours appears to have been abandoned and we are noticing that the landscape is becoming overgrown with plants, grasses and weeds. Also, the fence is the back of the property is beginning to fall down. Is there anything that the City can do to keep this property from becoming an eyesore for the other businesses on our street.

Follow up on uReport Case #158991: In spring of 2017 I filed a report with the city about the downspout drainage from my neighbor's property (2802 S Forrester), which dispenses rainwater directly onto the sidewalk in front of my house. They were issued a notice by the city, and they cut back the relevant downspout as indicated in the resolution of the ticket. However, thereafter they built a masonry channel from the end of the downspout that continues to direct the rainwater from the downspout onto the sidewalk in front of my property. When it rains moderately or heavily, the sidewalk on my property turns into a river, still, and in the seasonal transition to and from winter, the sidewalk winds up coated with ice. They masonry channel is topped with a plywood cover that is disguised with landscape rocks. I wanted to talk with them about this directly rather than file a report, but for 3 weeks I have not seen them at their house. Their house is reportedly under contract for sale, and I think it only fair that this issue be resolved (ideally by extending the drainage under the sidewalk to the curb so it no longer causes a negative impact on my property) before they sell it, so that new owners do not have to correct something they are not responsible for. This morning at approximately 8:05AM on October 18, 2018 a guy driving a delivery truck bed full of materials decides to stop at 10th and Rogers with no indication and causes a full stop for myself and a city block full of cars stuck. Rogers is a one way street at this point and because of the height of the truck, we cannot see if traffic is coming down the other way to pass around the truck. After sitting in my car for over 5 minutes and watching the truck driver run out to the construction site with no indication of when he's coming back, I rolled down my window to ask a nearby construction driver if someone can come direct traffic. I realize that's not his job but he didn't even dignify my question with a response. This is frustrating because despite all the delayed construction projects at the city, county and state level, the City has usually been pretty good about these types of things. If this is going to happen again, someone needs to be directing one way traffic flow. Also, I thought this 10th street corridor between Rogers and Morton was also supposed to be open by October 15th but now I see the information is gone from the city website.

Could you please install a painted crosswalk at 3rd and E Grant? 3rd is very high traffic and as cars come around the corner heading west, it makes for a dangerous crossing for pedestrians who are given no right-of-way.

I read an article that stated Bloomington doesn't plan on any new regulations for the scooters. I know this, if these students , as most of the riders I have observed are, keep going there will be problems. I have observed countless scooters on the sidewalks and I a becoming very irritated with the attitude of riders expecting the pedestrians to move aside so they can pass. I think the city needs to have police ticket a few of these riders so they might quit doing it. I personally refuse to move out of their way, as I should not have to. I also see them riding down the B-line, which isn't AS bad, but still is not a good thing. I believe if they are allowed to do this, then I should be allowed to ride my motorcycle on the sidewalks and B-line. Which I might do to make a point. $20 dollar fine might be worth it. Your attention to this matter is appreciated. AND it might be required in the near future. It's a public safety issue in my eyes. Thank you Frank Travis resident and tax payer of Bloomington

Those scooters are a blight on the City. People just dump them anywhere. Get rid of them now. Do it before some dumbass gets killed because the riders are clueless about how to use them. AND KEEP THEM OFF THE SIDEWALKS. They are a motor vehicle.
