I'm concerned that this electrical substation or whatever is visible from the lovely and brand new Wwitchyard park. How can the other electrical substation further north on Rogers (near Upland) have a nice wall that hides everything? Does the city have any plans to beautify this gross and unsafe looking monstrosity?
Referencing 171497 There are no electrical wires anywhere near this tree. Perhaps you have the wrong tree. The tree I am referring to is the tree on the south side of West 12th right at the northwest corner of the stone alley. It is the one that stands alone and is covered with vines.
Clearly can see the parking pass in the windshield. Have been given permission to park here by NAPA themselves. I work for IVY Tech security and i am supposed to park here.
The screen on this parking meter is unreadable. Impossible to tell parking time.

There are leaves in Park Ridge Park again. It is a lot less than last time, but still significant. Sanitation still hasn't done the second round of leaf pick up in the area so there is still a chance to easily remove the leaves (and thus help the park in terms of less erosion and mud production). My leaf blower is broken so I do not anticipate being able to take care of it. If possible, it would be great to have one more round of removal now that all of the leaves are finally down. Thanks!
Oclott Park walk path, where it offshoots to Jackson Creek Middle School. There is a constant trickle of water that streams across the path and down the offshoot. On cold days it forms a treacherous layer of ice. Very difficult to cross that area when walking around the park and extremely dangerous for students walking to JCMS. Not sure if it's a natural spring or if the Olcott Building is leaking, but water needs to be diverted from running across the walking path. Someone is going to get hurt.
Drug use and sleeping in park playground.
Splash pads - I think splash pads are a wonderful summer fun activity. I look forward to taking my grandkids to the new switchyard park this summer. However I would love to see more of these around town especially in parks in the poorer parts of town. Like the Reverend Butler Park, Highland village Park, Crestmont Park, Third Street Park. Are there plans to add more splash pads in our parks?
