we counted 12 cars driving in and out from this house. As stated in the first complaint, we are experiencing up to 40 cars a day at peak times in our neighborhood due to this large illegal retail business. The average is 20 cars a day, that is 100 cars a week and nearly 400 cars a month on average. We have several families with children and a public school bus stop near this home. As you can see, the roads are narrow, and this is a dangerous situation in our neighborhood. Please enforce the law and close this business for good. Bloomington Center for Connection has no accessible parking in their FlexePark lot of 12 spaces on Morton, parallel to the B-Line trail.
There is a city truck blocking the south end of the city hall parking lot. When another vehicle gets to the blocked end to turn into the next lane, the passage is blocked and there is no place to turnaround.
The curb that encloses the parking lot in front of Turquaz Cafe is a hazard to vehicles. It's very difficult to park in the provided spaces because there's a ditch meeting that much higher curb just behind it. It leaves too little room for drivers to maneuver out of a parking space and out of the lot. I often eat at this restaurant and several times have been blocked in due to trucks parking in adjacent spaces. This makes the already difficult task of maneuvering out of the space impossible. And I've damaged my car on the ditch and curb. At the very least, the spots should be labeled for compact cars only. Ideally, the curb would be removed and the lot repaved. A maroon car has been parked on 6th street for well over a month and unhoused people sleep in it sometimes. Parking enforcement put a ticket on it the other day and someone simply removed the ticket and seemed to throw it away. The contractors for the housing development by Bloomingfoods East are constantly using the Bfoods parking lot for staging, contractor parking, and using the access street for the same purpose. They are blocking traffic, and creating dangerous access conditions. Is this part of their traffic plan? If so, somebody in Planning needs to look closer at these plans.
