This complaint was left on voice mail by Becci Brock, Risk Management Dept. She received a phone call from a citizen that stated there is a line of sight problem in the east/west alley between 15th/16th Streets as you come out onto Dunn Street. The alley is overgrown with bushes and shrubs making it difficult to see oncoming traffic. She did not state which corner had the problem.
When you are going east on 14th Street and are approaching Dunn Street, there is a bush that is obstructing the line of sight. The bush is located on the southwest corner.
flowers planted by the telephone pole and can't see pulling out at Lincoln & 16th
Intersection of 17th & Lincoln (southside she believes) there are tree limbs hanging down into the sidewalk and blocking view for pulling out onto street. Believes tree belongs to apartment complex.
Old furniture and trash all over the sidewalk for days.
This tenants lawn has grass that is over a foot tall.
There are three apartment buildings in this block, and the grass in their yard is two feet tall. They use to belong to Elkins, maybe still do.
Residents who live directly across the street from the complex (321 E. 14th St.) are dumping their trash in the dumpster located to the north side of the complex. Ms. Sadler stated that she called the Police Dept. and they referred her to HAND.
