There is a tree down across the Renwick trail that runs from Moore's Pike to Sare Rd. It is closer to the Moore's Pike end of the trail.

The bike path along Sare Road south of the intersection with Olcott is rapidly deteriorating due to continuous water flow over the path that washes dirt, branches and rocks onto the path. Something needs to be done to divert this water away from the path. In the winter the water freezes, leaving the path coated with a sheet of ice. Very dangerous for bikes and pedestrians.

To whom it may concern, Hello, My name is John Rodriguez. I'm a student from Mount Pleasant High School in Northeast Texas. For our Engineering Program, a couple of students and I, have been aiming to place a concrete slides in one of our local parks. We've contacted a manufacturer and asked for a list of previous customers who own one similar to the one we are considering. Thus I am here with an inquiry. I was wondering if you could give me a direct contact (Email or Phone Number), to someone in the parks department or someone who would know information, pertaining to your concrete slide, particularly things like maintenance and operation. We are compiling a list of comments and reviews for the embankment concrete slide so we can present it to our city for better consideration from them. Push Place looks like it hasn't had any maintenance since it was created in 1990. It's rusting and the ground covering is disintegrating. I tried looking in the Parks and Rec master plan to see whether there were any plans to upgrade it. But that plan is almost unreadable. When you zoom in to enlarge the letters, you can only see the middle of each of the displayed pages. You say it's a community park, but it doesn't get the kind of attention that other community parks get. This is two complaints: 1) about the condition of the playground and 2) about the condition of your web site.

Hello, I couldn't find a more appropriate forum or contact information to use for this concern. I'm not sure if there are anymore movies in Bryan Park for the season, so if not maybe this could be applied to next year. I am wondering if the event could have a sort of rule for bringing lawn chairs. It would be really nice if folks bringing lawn/camp chairs could sit on one side and others with blankets and sitting on the ground could sit on another side. I was grateful to spend time with a friend watching a movie put on by the parks system. We came early and were prepared with blankets but ended up having to rearrange everything multiple times before and during the movie because of individuals coming in and setting up chairs in front of us, therefore blocking the screens. I know that there were plenty of people around us with the same issues. I think having a split down the middle of the lawn would be an easy way to make this a non-issue. (I am not including folks who need adaptive seating, as theirs' should always be a primary concern and I assume there is a place in front for accessible spots already in place.) Yesterday I visited the playground at Winslow Woods Park with my son. The playground space is in dire need of repair. The rubber flooring is patchy, worn, and disintegrating, creating trip hazards. The climbing jungle gym is rusty, with peeling paint and worn plastic. It does not seem structurally unstable, but could use at least some sanding and repainting to make it safer for young children. My experiences at other city parks and playgrounds have all been wonderful, so this seems out of character. I'd be interested to know if there is a barrier to repair/replacement of equipment at this park, if it is slated for removal, or if there is anything I can do as a resident to help advocate for its upkeep. We love to visit our parks and appreciate all the good work the Parks Department does for our community!

I found a syringe just a foot or two off the B-Line Trail in a clump of spearmint growing behind the orange building at 7th and Madison. Ironically, the syringe was orange too. I left it there, because I am not trained in handling syringes, but it should probably get picked up and disposed of properly. Thanks, Yael
