Signs in right-of-way at Park Ridge East entrance island (east of Morningside and Smith)
Signs in right-of-way at Park Ridge East entrance island (east of Morningside and Smith)
This is a general observation. Over the last few years I have been seeing metal sheets screwed to Bloomington roads, presumably to cover work in progress. I have observed a problem with many of these sheets. They are screwed down with small gauge screws. They are not sufficient to keep the sheets secure. They work their way out and stick up an inch in some places. Their heads are small. They look sharp enough to damage a tire, and a damaged tire is a safety issue.
Since you have not told me yet whether signs like this are illegal, I have 2 more for you.
Illegal sign? Lucky Market's parking lot and many more places around town.
Ted Kia Soul frequently parks on the sidewalk.
Pace bike knocked over. 507 s. Fess Ave

Resident called in regarding a smithville fiber utility truck that parked on the lawn between the sidewalk and street. It left very large tire ruts. It is difficult to mow and should be repaired.
