The renter has had eight tires sitting in front of his garage since August of 2023. He has been asked to remove them but he only parked his huge white SUV in front of them. 1. they are unsightly 2. during the warm months the mosquitos will breed in the trapped water.
A lot of random junk, trash, and rundown vehicles scattered through driveway, lawn and side of property. There are also many piles of feces scattered through the lawn, contributing to the health concern of the unnecessary build up of trash and junk. Stray cats appear to be living in the junk and vehicles. Trash blows from this yard into neighboring properties and all of the junk creates a massive eyesore for surrounding homeowners. It appears the property owner also stores a trailer and additional vehicle in the street due to the inability to fit any more vehicles into the driveway. The negligence of this homeowner is creating an unhealthy and ugly problem for the entire neighborhood. Something needs to be done about this immediately.
People living in an RV for the last year with trash and equipment all over the backyard. Operating auto repair in their backyard. General nuisance. Police called several times for domestic abuse. Burning trash. Probably drug use.
Excessive clutter and vehicles in yard
The resident at the corner of Morningside Drive and Park Lane is running a scooter business in his front yard and on the street. He also has a great deal of trash in his driveway, on the lawn, and along both sides of the house. The scooter business involves going around town, picking up scooters, and recharging their batteries. He has two trailers and at least one is always parked on the street. The trailer and the towing pickup typically jut out into the traffic lanes and create a hazard on an alreaddy overcrowded street. I request that the city take action regarding these complaints. Park Lane is a relatively heavy travelled road because it has no speed bumps. Adding these trailers into the mix is going to cause accidents....
228 North Sheffield. A huge trash container has been in the driveway for literally a year now at least I imagine. Surely there is some limit on PERMANENT placement of a personal mini-dump, aka giant trash container, in a public visible area? Both for health and aesthetic. I understand even a couple months if something big is happening, but not permanent placement of trash. Can someone please request the homeowner if nothing else can be done to please move it? And route this concern to City officials if not against some city ordinance? I think we have a neighborhood officer Norm if he can knock and see what their plan for it is. Junk car disabled on Habitat Street. Hoarding of metal and useless junk, clothing strewn about along with open storage containers and items not for out door use between houses. How can the city let this kind of pollution go on for years ? So disgusting and disrespectful. John Hamilton should be ashamed for not doing something about the weak codes concerning this issue which is all too common in this town.The mayor himself said he would “look” into it years ago. There has been no change.
There is a dumpster in the alley behind Indiana Auto Sales (not sure if it is residential or commerical) that is not up to code for a business in Bloomington (no concrete slap, and no surrounding fence / wall).
Thinks it is a yard sale goin on continuously in yard, or trash being stored.
