When Bruce's Welding was granted permission to build at their present location, part of the approval included "no outdoor storage". Over the years, the accumulation of "stuff" has grown. The recent addition of steel beams to the steel stairs along North Adams Street indicates that this business needs a reminder of the agreement.
The 3 Amigos restaurant at 601 North College Avenue has installed a permanent outdoor speaker blasting music into the courtyard residential area. I would like to see if anything can be done to limit the use of or volume on the outdoor speaker. Thanks for your assistance.
Comcast has set up a tent on the corner of 3rd and Atwater and is blocking the sidewalk with signs. Do they have a business license to be operating here? Are they allowed to block the sidewalk?
The manger at the Highland Village Laundry facility was extremely rude to my husband and I when we attempted to do our laundry there. I have tried to call them numerous times to speak with the owner, but the phone number they have listed is not a working number.
I live at 916 west Kirkwood ave next to morrisons they have a large walnut tree on their property it over hangs my property this tree has damaged my house my garage and one of my sheds it is unsafe for my kids to play outside because of falling walnuts and limbs I have spoke to morrisons several times about trimming or cutting this tree they will not can you help with this problem thank you mr mullis

Abandoned Elevator factory. I would like to see the building be turned into a museum in honor of the many people that worked there building some of the greatest elevators and escalators of all times. One elevator product that may have been built there was the Otis Lexan elevator. I have some friends who film these things and love the Otis Lexan. And now since many of the Otis Lexan elevators are being ripped out, my friends feel quite saddened. So if you can, please see if you can make a museum out of this in honor of one of the best elevators of all time. My friends would love you if you did. IN a way, it would be like a memorial to the Lexan line at Otis elevator company. Greyhound even has service going from St. Louis to Bloomington and the service would bring all sorts of elevator enthusiasts to the museum.

I know that recently I have become extremely interested in sustainable community development. Creating community that is built with sustainable practices in mind. I am writing to complain about being towed from Bedrak Cafe parking lot at 8:30p by Tow Time and being charged $215. This is an extortion rate. The Bedrak Cafe has signs posted but you cannot see them when it is dark. They are tiny and dark in color. We were not given warning that we would be towed and then to be charged such an exorbitant amount is unreasonable. My fiance met me and we had 2 other friends that parked there. We were gone from our cars less than 20 minutes and 3 of the 4 cars were gone and the 4th one was in the process of being towed. The towing company has to be lying in wait for anyone to park there and then stealing your car and charging you this astronomical price. He then basically threatened us stating if we did not pay him immediately that it would cost us $20-40 more and that we would have to make an appointment to get the cars back at their convenience. This is extortion, we felt intimidated, and backed into a corner. Then on top of this he tells us that he has a contract with the owner of Bedrak Cafe to keep the lot cleaned out of all cars except when they are open. So how much of a kick back is Bedrak getting from Tow Time. And where is Tow Time located. I could not find a Bloomington address for Tow Time. What is the city regulations on parking and fees for being towed? This makes the city of Bloomington look very bad. No one will want to go down town if you cannot park in a lot where the business is closed. This is outrageous!
