Caller very frustrated with traffic back-up at Smith Ave. and Walnut. Sat in line on Smith for 20 minutes, through 6 stoplight cycles, forced to wait through school pick-up.
Resident reports that the stop sign is difficult to see while approaching this intersection (Sare Rd/Canada Dr) southbound on Sare Rd, and would suggest putting up a "Stop Sign Ahead" to warn oncoming traffic. Claims to have seen two cars slam on the brakes for this intersection recently, and urges that this issue be solved what with the new students coming in.

Dear Government, I have been living here for about 13 years, and in this time it has become clear to me that there is a problem at the intersection between Rusgan Drive and Ramble Road West. You see this intersection has been my bus stop for years, and whether it's the dark of morning when I leave or daylight when I get back people speed right by as if there were no speed limit. This is only made worse by the fact that the intersection is half blind because it lies at the bottom of a small hill. So for the well being of myself and the children of the neighborhood I am requesting that this intersection be changed to a three way stop. I believe this would force the people of the neighborhood to drive at a more reasonable speed and therefore make my street much safer. I believe my neighbor across the street, the father of a small child, previously wrote the city requesting the same thing. I myself am just a teenager. So you know that once the problem has reached the point where a teenager takes time where they could have been doing nothing to write the city about traffic regulation, it's probably not just nothing. And considering others have written about this in the past, I frankly find it foolish to wait until someone actually gets hurt to take action. Thank you for your time and consideration, P.S. Resident of The Stands reports that the stop sign exiting her cul-de-sac has faded so much that STOP is barely readable. As well, the streetlight in the cul-de-sac has begun to flicker, and when it's off the area is very dark.
There is a vehicle parked on West Habitat Street at 304 N Hopewell that is up on blocks with the rear wheels removed.
The Do Not Enter sign at the intersection of the east-west alley behind the Buskirk Chumley with Washington Street has been knocked down.
