Responded... Hi Nick. First of all, thanks for submitting this uReport. The more folks that say something about it, the better. Second, I know this person and his mother is actually the chair of the Council for Community Accessibility. While neither have directly complained about this issue it has been on our radar as other people have seen him try to navigate that stretch of Smith Road. So I went out and did a full survey from 3rd to 10th Streets and reported every issue along that route. Then I participated in a discussion about it with the Engineering and Planning. It's not so easy to address this one because it's very narrow and can't be widened. It would also be fairly costly to do the whole route. But we have placed it on the sidewalk priority list that was submitted to Planning departments for their next round of sidewalk construction. We won't know how that very limited budget gets spent for a while, but sure hope it includes addressing this one. So that's where we stand on it. Fingers are crossed! Over the past few weeks, recycling has been strewn about the streets throughout Eastern Heights. It appears that papers and other lightweight items are floating out when the carts are being dumped into the truck.

The north side of R Rogers Rd btw Sare and Snoddy (bottom of the hill) has several large deep potholes in the middle of the north lane and along the north edge of the road.

The ice in front of the old Which-Which / new Raising Kane's is very dangerous. It could use some more salt for sure, part of the sidewalk in front of Chipotle too. It has had little to no tending to.

Trash bags have been torn into and trash is scattered all over. Cans have been left at the curb after pick up

These new flower beds are filled with rain water and if they freeze they may damage the plastic liner inside. They may need some holes drilled in them before the soil is added.

There is a metal service door with a hole in it and the cap to this hole is missing. This is nothing to extreme, but it could be a hazard.
