Hello, My home sits at the bottom of an incline where the water in the neighborhood drains onto our driveway and property. Every time it rains the water causes erosion on the property and flooding to our garage and yard. Not only is the un-directed water effecting us, but is also causing the road to erode where water is standing on the asphalt. As well as eroding neighbors propertys and driveway, which then end up in front of our home puddled in the street,(water,gravel,soil). A solution could be installing curbs and catchment drains in the surrounding area to better direct the water from causing more damage to ours and neighboring properties. During hard rains, water backs up in the southeast corner of my yard and comes into my garage and basement from the parking pad on the east and below grade through the wall to the north. The sidewalk running along the Clifton St. right of way is the east boundary of my property (see photo). Water simply can't move fast enough to the culvert you installed south of my property on the west side of the sidewalk. Is there anything you can do to alleviate this problem? I'm happy to discuss the details. Thank you.

I am the homeowner and have recently built an attached sunroom with sinks at this address. I need to connect the water pipe from those sinks to the city sewer line, and so would like to request a detailed sewer line map of/around my property, if available. Thanks.

The swale to the west side of our home overfilled as storm water was backed up at the street drains which then flooded the window well to our basement on June 18-19. Although our yard is regularly flooded during heavy storms, the west swale was designed and dug by the City to carry excess water to the street. We believe this swale needs to be dug deeper and lined with rock to stop erosion from occurring to prevent future flooding of our basement. Please send an engineer to evaluate. This problem has been reported several times.

Today and always when there's been heavy rain over the last years, 1st Street floods in our stretch, because there's no drain in the block between Stull and Fess Ave. where we are. At our house, the water hits the curb of the alley in such a way that the entire grass patch and side way is flooded, making it dangerous to walk on the side way. I'm attaching a picture of now, when the rain has already become more steady. I can provide a number of short videos we've taken over the years to document the problem. Please, consider installing a drain or let us know what can be done about this. It is dangerous for us, our toddler son and our visitors. Thank you!

173337 Our case number was closed. We don't know how this happened without anyone contacting us. Today, Mar 11 the flooding began again and reached the side of our houses. The drainage is not able to carry this amount of water away and needs to be addressed. Please contact us. Thanks

It looks like the photo I'm trying to send may not be working.. but anyway.. In front of 1309 South Lincoln is a gutter that is NOT accepting water..the issue is NOT a plugged gutter at the street level because I have cleaned it out myself.. THis has been going on for YEARS and I've reported it twice..The city looked into it and said that there is no blockage,, but since the water backs up at Every rain, the something is obviously wrong..If you can't get a full street view from the photo I've sent with this message let me know where I can send an email with a photo attachment..Thanks.. Water ponding after rain. People walk on street or grass to avoid water ponding. One family had a stroller and had to go onto street to negotiate sidewalks filled with water.
