Overgrown bamboo at 1002 W 6 St and Elm bending into sidewalks and street obstructing traffic. Bird droppings covering the sidewalk. The invasive plant has encroached on neighboring property where we live at 1004, so we are having to engage removal services and eventually install impermeable barriers at our expense. The back yard of 1002 is overgrown also, feral cats, possum and a skunk have been sited or smelled in a fallen shed which has not been cleared out. The Elm Street side of 1002 is full of debris and overgrowth and there is an unattended stagnant water feature where we hear frogs in the summer (which do attract copperhead snakes). Someone does seem to be inhabiting the house, though we know that the owner of the house does not reside in Indiana presently.

I live at 812 W 2nd St. My next door neighbor lives at 820 W. 2nd St. Her back yard is overgrown and has containers that fill with water. In warm weather these containers breed mosquitos. I can't even go outside in the summer because the mosquitos are so bad. Also, she won't cut her grass along 2nd St. She says it is flowers, but it is weeds. I have seen rats in there. Also it is a traffic hazard because cars turning on to 2nd St. from Euclid St. can't see oncoming traffic. I am also sending a copy of this email to the State Board of Health in Indianapolis.

The advertisement for Beach Juice alcoholic drinks has been spray painted on the sidewalks at each corner of the block surrounding Big Red Liquors. The images are at the following corners: 9th and walnut 9th and college 8th and college 8th and walnut (back from the intersection at the NE corner of the ocean building) I thought it might have just been spray chalk and would disappear with a rain or two but I have verified it really is black paint and water has no effect on it so it will likely need to be pressure washed off. abandon residence entered by homeless, no electricity, water, heat graffiti on exterior of building. unable to find current owner via Monroe county GIS to request clean up and to secure building doors and windows broken into i am sure that soon it will become a health issue it already is a eye sore to to the area, now that it has been tagged by graffiti it is a open invitation to vandals to spread throughout the area i would like to request that the owners be required to clean up the area

Recent construction of over-large building next to old stone church on Grant has caused drainage issues on the alley intersection between 9th and 10th, Grant and Lincoln. When it rains, a lake forms with nowhere for the water to go now. People who built the building should be required to fix this before winter.

Over a year ago, new water lines were installed along Brookdale to accommodate a new apartment complex on the west side of Kinser Pike. (Aspen Apts.) That construction dug up parts of the yards of the houses on Brookdale as well as part of the street itself. The street was never repaved and the areas that were covered up with dirt become muddy when it rains.

We continue to experience recurring flooding and standing water. There is a single small drain outlet on our side of the street. Rising water frequently threatens to enter our retail location, especially when cars pass and cause waves. More photos and video available upon request.

Large pothole busted my tire Tuesday evening, passenger side front tire. Pothole had water in it, impossible to see. Having to take vehicle to a professional to have fixed.
