Is there any chance that the City would beautify (i.e. remove the rusty fence, cut the weeds, and mow nicely) the property on Monroe St near Tri-North where the water tank used to be?
The tree inside the large dog park has a large diameter dip around the base of it. This dip is constantly filled with very rank smelling water and I along with all other dog owners have discussed how unhappy we are that we must bathe our dogs anytime we take them to get exercise. My dog needs consistent exercise and the best way to do this is at the dog park, but constant bathing can cause skin to dry out. At one point, the city had placed a temporary barrier around it so I believed there was hope for a solution, but since then the barrier has been taken down.
Our neighborhood has reported this resident multiple times and the city has done absolutely nothing to correct the issues on this property. This property is a literal junk yard, and when I say literal, I mean this without any exaggeration. It is littered with trash, abandoned vehicles, broken appliances scattering the entire yard. My kids go outside to play and are bombarded with mosquitoes that live in the water-logged abandoned junk all over the property. Can someone from the city please address this since the other departments are not addressing it?
Under the underpass is a drainpipe that has ice built up around it. When it rains water gushes out of it . It's right over the exit from 37 northbound to 46 eastbound.
Due to the recent re-paving of Leonard Springs Rd, all water drainage that used to bypass my house now floods directly into my driveway, yard, and garage. I am concerned that my house will flood in the current heavy rain. Please advise.
Water utilities shut off water and is still billing me.
Our sub division Northwood Estates has been having a lot of trouble with drainage. It seems that the easements have overgrown scab trees & brush that may be blocking some water but it also seems as thoug your drainage system that takes the water to a creek needs to be cleaned out. We back up to the golf course & have trouble getting the golf course staff to maintain our side of the course, ie mowing, weeds, dead trees along the road,etc. We seem to be a bit neglected when it comes to these problems. Hello. I actually live at 410 S. Walnut, and I am beyond furious. You have workers "fixing" the roads on Walnut. They start before 7 everyday - which isn't even the problem. They shut off the water without alerting us. I have an important class I have to attend today looking horrible because I was not alerted to the fact that our water would be shut off. I am beyond disappointed. I can't even eat my breakfast this morning because oatmeal requires water. We deserve better from you.
Do the new water meters finally mean we can be billed by the gallon as opposed to the present archaic system of thousands of gallons, which is exceptionally adverse to water conservation incentives as well as basic economic fairness. Please say yes. It's such an easy change to make. Even X for every hundred gallons is a vast improvement and perhaps easier to transition to.
Anonymous complaint from a woman who lives on S. Wilton in Green Briar Hills. She said drainage from Arden Place runs through their neighborhood and right now, there is a lot of water, leaves and trash along the street. She would like someone to come out and pick up the leaves in the next few days.
