Hi, I was wondering if the trash vehicle could stop just tipping over the trash can when they empty the trash bins in SoMax area. This is the second week that the trashcan was on its side. It damages the trash can over time and this morning there was a lot of water inside of the can. Thank you.

111? E. Kirkwood: Some sort of restaurant runoff (floor cleaning water?) is dumped from behind Opi Taylor's/Malibu. This goes on year round, but creates a sheet of ice in the winter (as it is today). The water runs/ices in front of an empty lot, so no one deals with the sidewalk. It's approx. 111? E. Kirkwood, just past the alley behind Book Corner, just at the start of the parking lot next to CVS. I originally reported this in 2017, I guess before it was cold. ureport#161324 and I was told it was runoff from an AC unit, which I think we can be sure is not the case in today's weather. I'm a daily walker from the near westside to campus. This is an ongoing problem. I really would like someone to just take some responsibility for either the initial liquid or the ice that results. The small stub of West 10th Street that runs West from Fairview to another short street called Curve Street and runs for one block is a disgusting muddy mess. If you are not going to maintain this street why don't you dig it up and turn it into green space? During the recent rains the City storm water system was so backed up in this location that the entire area completely filled with water (causing water infiltration into the basement of the house I own at 605 North Fairview. The storm sewers are often blocked and the culvert at the bottom of the park is inadequate to handle the water that runs off Ernest Butler Park. The whole situaiton is a mess and largely caused by City mismanagement. Additionally, the City has repeatedly allowed Mr. Goodman to violate City rules and codes and directives and his mess and non-running cars adds to the mix of this mess--once again a case of City mismanagement. This horrible situation has persisted for years. As the owner of 605 N Fairview I am seriously considering hiring an attorney and taking formal legal action against the City for its inattention to its own rules. If the Goodman property were a rental property that I owned I would be getting a complaint notice every other day. Both Matt Murphy (who owns the commercial property which adjoins my house at 605 N Fairview) and I have invested significant money in keeping our properties nice and generally contributing to the uplift of the Near-Westside. Too bad the City is not helping us! My number is 812-322-2050 and I would be interested in hearing if anyone at the City has viewed the situation on this one block section of West 10th Street.

N Dunn St, on the slope down to the Griffy water plant: a depression on centerline needs filling up. Not technically a pothole, as the pavement is not broken. But a dip 2-3" deep, which causes northbound traffic to go into the other lane to avoid it - as no one wants to risk going too far to the right, off the road, and down the hill into the lake.

The Street Department came the first of the week and put down a beautiful new layer of street in my cul-de-sac (Summerwood Ct) but when it rained the water pooled on the side of the street as high as the curb. It was at least 5 inches deep at the curb and extended halfway across the street. Apparently there formerly was a storm sewer at that particular location, but it is no longer functioning which results in water, snow, ice accumulation at that point and the streegt will quickly deteriorate. Please help!

(see photo) Although this may look like a private driveway, it is not. This is a city alley. My property is 708, 710, and 712 N. Oolitic St. This alley runs behind it. If one looks at a City plot map, it can be seen that this is a city right-of-way running from W. 11th St. to W. 12th St, to 13th, 14th...etc. For the longest time, this alley right-of-way was unused. Then Habitat built some houses on Lindbergh, so the city reopened sections of the alley to be used by the Habitat residents. As you can see, it is paved with gravel. To my knowledge, it has never received another layer since the original. Since all the potholes around the city are being repaired, I am hoping these "potholes" can be as well. There is a large drop off from the blacktop of 12th St and we have practically constant mud in the water holes. Also, as you can see, we have grass growing through. Would it be possible to have some new gravel spread - at least on the lower section where the mud holes are? It would be greatly appreciated.

The alleyway between Cardinal Spirits at 922 S Morton St and the building to the North of us continues to flood and cause water to flood down into our building. We would like to request some kind of simple drainage solution such as a ditch to be installed to mitigate this problem.
