I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. Can't get a photo to upload to uReport. There appears to be a minor water leak coming from under the edge of the asphalt at the corner of Bainbridge and Allendale. Curb has been holding water for a while and there seems to be a small but increasing flow.

It looks like the photo I'm trying to send may not be working.. but anyway.. In front of 1309 South Lincoln is a gutter that is NOT accepting water..the issue is NOT a plugged gutter at the street level because I have cleaned it out myself.. THis has been going on for YEARS and I've reported it twice..The city looked into it and said that there is no blockage,, but since the water backs up at Every rain, the something is obviously wrong..If you can't get a full street view from the photo I've sent with this message let me know where I can send an email with a photo attachment..Thanks.. Water flooding from main to street

We continue to have a flooding issue due to yard waste, leaves, seed pods, sand clogging up our street drain. I was up at 2:00 again this morning pulling the street drain that was again completely clogged so our garage did not get flooded. Water was almost to the garage. This has been a problem for many years and it has never been resolved. I have asked many times. MANY Times. I should not have to fear that if I am not home and it rains that there is a good chance we'll get water in our house because of our street drain is poorly designed based on the amount of debris that comes down our street. Would someone please finally address this issue.

Hi, The stormwater drains in this neighborhood are no longer able to process light rain. Since the Echo Park subdivision was built, we have noticed an increase in the amount of water collecting near the drains. Historically, the drains have not processed the stormwater quickly enough so the water pools in the street causing traffic and parking disruption. We would like to find a solution to this stormwater and runoff issue. Thanks, Gavin Kelly

173337 Our case number was closed. We don't know how this happened without anyone contacting us. Today, Mar 11 the flooding began again and reached the side of our houses. The drainage is not able to carry this amount of water away and needs to be addressed. Please contact us. Thanks

I submitted an erosion/drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Dr. Bloomington IN 47401). Someone from City called and left a message for me saying that it is on private property therefore City will not take care of it. I showed it to several other folks and in their opinion, it is City's responsibility since the rainwater pipe is the one causing the damage. I am not sure if your site visitors went to the location to verify this. The rain water from the entire neighborhood comes through this pipe and ends in the creek. I am attaching a picture with this form so that you can take a look at it.If the site visitor wants to visit again, this is happening in between (the back of ) houses 2201 and 2200.
