There is a water leak at approximately 734 N. Woodbridge Dr. It started on Sunday morning, and to my knowledge, no one has tried to fix it. Our apartment complex is aware of the issue, but the leak has continued to run for four days. So far, at least 5,000 gallons of water have been wasted.
Storm drainage (and even some lighter rainstorms) has repeatedly been eroding and flooding our backyard and street. The recent storms have heightened our concern at the impact runoff water and debris is having on our home/yard, our neighbors yard, and the street below us. The elevation of our yard and street is lower than that of the woods behind us and the street above us (Georgetown Road). All of the water from these locations has eroded channels and pools in their yards, guiding the water into our yard. The water pools in our backyard, increasingly threatening our house. In addition to the large volume of water this forces on our yard and street, we are bombarded by leaves, large sticks, and other misc. debris. This debris clogs the sewer drains at the other end of our street and clutters the street. The amount of water runoff continues to increase on a daily rate and has started to erode dirt in both our and our neighbors front lawns, leading us to believe that increased drainage at the street above or our street are required. If not, alternate solutions and suggestions are requested. If city help is not possible, than approval for commercial drainage/directing of the water through our yard and into the street is requested for approval. Water running out from under our condo 1916 S Ramsey behind several units and into Queensway east of roundabout. Reported yesterday and assigned to Michael Chase. We have not heard from him. turned off water in house but does not stop the flow of water. Thompson 812-336-4683
I have noticed water running in the street at 9th St. & Prow for the last several weeks as I walk by. Today I walked north on Prow Ann’s saw that it appears to be leaking from the meter box at 527 Prow.
I am following up on case number 167563 which was assigned to a Mr. Peden. He said they came by and assessed the problem but they looked at the ditch in the front and the problem is not the front it is the backyard and the water comes from the north property onto my property in the backyard and is so high that sometimes it almost floods my house.
From the houses north on Glenwood from the easement I get everyone’s water and it comes in my backyard across my sidewalk and most of the time up over the driveway.
There is no drainage system on Olive street just south of Hillside. Additionally, Ridgemont Ct runoff gathers here as well. Cars try to drive through wich causes waves to sending more water into the effected houses. 18" in the street. Years of neighbors and past residents call for help have garnered no response from the city.

Good Morning, I called on Saturday night and spoke to someone, did not get their name, via the emergency number. He recommended I contact CBU on monday but I did not get to it until this morning. Situation is this: 6:15pm - My son and friend are playing near the creek/drainage ditch between Elliston Drive and E Dunstan. All of a sudden a big wash of water comes running down the ditch and proceeded to run for about 2 hours. Could be 3-6" deep roughly, best estimate. I called in and gentleman I spoke with asked that I take a video, which I did and can provide. I traced it back to a culvert outlet which was coming from Allendale. Looked in the inlets on Allendale and could see water was coming from the north and S. Dunstan. I walked up and could see evidence of water dripping from a truck (similar to the drips off the garbage truck). The drip path got bigger and wider until I saw water spill surrounding the top of a manhole in the middle of S. Dunstan at the dead end. I did also notice that there is a storm pond that was half full of water in the Acadia Court apartments. I do not recall enough recent rain to have filled that pond but it looked almost recently drained but hard to say. That's the story. I wanted to report because it seemed an odd time and weather for this to be happening. The water seemed odorless and in hindsight I wish I had got a sample. There may still be some pools with water if you want to investigate. The attached map shows the rough path and the smaller circle to the north is the manhole and the larger the detention pond behind the apartments. The smaller circle to the south is the culvert pipe outlet.
