Please say you will discontinue your current practice of "estimating" costs. For me, for two months in a row, the winter estimations are more than six times my historical average. I use water for sprinklers in the summer, not the winter. I use 3 to 4 units in the winter, but I'm being charged for 15. Please stop that practice.

I live at 3500 E Morningside Drive in Bloomington (47408), and there is quite a bit of water rushing through the culvert along Morningside drive, coming from the east. I expect there is a water main break somewhere east of my house. (2/2/2019 - 7:44 a.m.)

Dear Bloomington water department., Last week my pipes froze your team came to my home promptly and turned off the water right after calling for an emergency shut off at the meter. I am back to town and would like to have your team come back to my home and turn the water back on at the meter. Please let me know if this can happen this afternoon, I would like to be at the house when the water is turned back on so that I can deal with any water issues if I have a broken pipe. Thank you! When will curbs be updated in Park Ridge East? Inadequate in many areas and allows water to overflow along sides, corners, and otherwise not drain properly. Please even if few years out have a plan for this. Thank you! Wanted to make sure it was on the radar, even if long distance.

Yesterday, during the huge mid-day rainstorm, water came up through the floor drain in our basement at 2638 East Dekist Street. It had a sewage odor and was muddy looking and reached a level of about 4 inches, covering the entire floor and soaking everything. The basement toilet also had dirty water come into it. I called the city utilities hotline and reported the incident twice, speaking to the same person each time. The water receded after a couple hours. We have yet to assess the damage and start to clean up. Last year on 2/11/18 our basement toilet erupted (see case #163027). We had a plumber verify that the city sewer was the source of the issue. We did not claim any damages, yet the city did not reimburse us the cost of the plumbing assessment. We would appreciate someone responding to this current incident.
