The city just repaved my cul-de-sac. They did not correct the drainage problem. The water is pooling in a large area. It is trapped and unable to drain to the other side where there is a curb drain.

Water is flowing north from west of Cameron Row into the intersection of Queens Way and Montclair Avenue. It appears to be flowing north behind several of the units west of Ramsey and South of Queens Way.

There was a water line break on Sunday behind 2252 E Cape Cod Dr, Bloomington, IN 47401. The City of Bloomington Utilities patched the line and filled the hole. However, would like to know if City of Bloomington will repair and asphalt the patch and if this is the monetary responsibility of the City of Bloomington. Please advise.

Location - 2001 East Marilyn Drive Issue - rain water is collecting and pooling in front of our home. We believe that it is caused by drainage system built on the "high" side of the road that is poorly engineered and inadequate for this area. Solution - we would like to discuss what it would take to get a curb with an inlet that would connect to the drainage system across the road.

I noticed ice here a few times last winter but thought it was just frozen road runoff and it wasn’t super cold last year so ice build-up wasn’t significant. But it’s been well below freezing and there shouldn’t be standing water. I didn’t observe anything like this in the spring, summer or fall. I assume there’s a small water line leak underground, perhaps underneath the road. The road is cracked along the edge so there may be some freeze/thaw going on. It doesn’t seem to be an emergency — the flow seems pretty minimal but it does generate some ice south of the wet area when below freezing. I wanted to report this now that I realize what is going on. I placed a stake with orange flagging tape in the area where it seems like water is coming to the surface. Thanks for looking into this. The neighbors in shadow creek would like to see the city be more proactive in persuading the owner of this building lot to keep the grass mowed and remove the invasive trees that have grown out of the ponding water. The ponding happens after each rain and is a health issue for the residents, and a safety issue for kids on this street. This lot has looked like this for years as the 2 doctor investors that owned it previously were not inclined or forced to maintain it or properly fill it in. Anything you can do to help protect our property values by threatening fines and actions against the owner would be much appreciated. thank you, shadow creek residents.
