2600 N. Kinser: It's been 3 weeks. Why hasn't the street been repaired from the water leak? Thanks!

Recently, I reported some damage to the E. Regents Circle street, which the City immediately fixed. The repair work was OUTSTANDING, by the way! The promptness and quality of the repair work was spot-on ... many thanks to the City! However, after a few months we've noticed that the asphalt used for the repair appears to now be "separating" from the original pavement of the East edge of street (see attached photo). Our concern is that as winter approaches, there will be opportunities for water/snow/ice to accumulate, freeze, and actually cause *more* damage to the original repair work. Can we please request to have the City come check out this repair work to see if it needs additional work? Thank you so much in advance! - Rob Aney robaney@yahoo.com

Large areas of potholes, some very deep, on Highland Avenue. The worst area is just north of Winslow Road, where the Winslow Trail merges with the sidewalk on Highland. Often filled with water so it is difficult to tell how deep they are when driving. Also, large areas of potholes are present on both sides of Rogers Road, toward the top of the hill at the entrance to The Stands neighborhood (up the east hill from the Winslow/High/Rogers Roundabout). In front of our home at 1314 S Grant there is a dip in the road that holds water for days and sometimes weeks after a rain. Last summer it served as enough standing water to be a bad mosquito breeding ground... would love for it to be patched such that it doesn't breed them again this year.

The sidewalk on 2nd St between Arbutus and Eastside has large sections of hardened paving material that is a tripping hazard and an eyesore. It appears to be from a road repair there (perhaps where the water main broke) and may have been thrown up on the sidewalk with snow removal.

Crews have patched potholes on Montclair Ave within the last few weeks, but they missed an area that is on the edge of the roadway, next to the curb, near the southeast corner of Montclair, right near the intersection with Rock Creek. There are several holes that fill with water after a storm, leaving standing water that will encourage mosquito breeding. Please come back and fix this spot. Thanks, John

One of the houses near us pumps their water on to the street as well as Alice street, creating ice and slush. At least five cars have gotten stuck on the street in the past two days.

We have contacted the street department 4 times now on this prob. At the end of Tudor lane and aloe dale there is a sink hole in the road that constantly has red clay wet mud approximately 4 feet in diameter around it. Red clay water runs almost a block downhill. The hole has been patched but eons up again. It is not a pot hole but is caving in. We as a neighborhood have to either pull out into the opposite lane of traffic or go through red wet mud. Please direct my email to appropriate person. I had notified u earlier this summer and they said they would send a supervisor out. This is probably 4-5 month on going. Any help would be greatly appreciated
