Majority of streets and drain culverts in Park Ridge East addition need repair/repaved. There are areas on Saratoga which are really bad. Stretch of road in front of my house consistently fills up with road debris and water. Really hoping the streets in the addition could be repaved rather than filling potholes that end up re-occurrng due to poor drainage.
Is Pickwick still scheduled for repaving? I reported in April that rushing water has created an erosion of Pickwick at the front of my driveway, that is now about a 3-4 inch shelf that people have to drive over. I saw that someone came to Pickwick and did some patching, but only on the other side of the street, and did nothing with our problem. I do want to get my driveway re-paved, but want to see Pickwick repaired before I have that done. thanks for any help you can provide. Jim
At 704 N. Park Ridge Road Ms. Kaye Hill reports that the sidewalk in front of her house is sinking and is adjacent to a storm drain. Sidewalk sink is helping to collect water and contribute to some flooding from recent rains. There are green and orange paint marks on the sidewalk there and it may already be on the list for repair. Huge dip in Madison street causes water to pool in my yard and in front of our house. There needs to be a drain, or water will continue to pool in my yard and flood my driveway. This issue has continued to get worse.
Every year, we have several families of ducklings cross the road here to get to the pond at the Fountain Park apartment complex. Is it possible to have a duckling road sign installed so that oncoming traffic is cautious? There have been a couple close calls and even two casualties involving the ducks and their mothers during their journey to water. I think a sign would be helpful.
This speedbump, on East 1st, between Eastside & Rose, is surrounded by potholes. The attached picture faces west. There always seems to be water standing here. It is unclear whether it is bubbling up from below the ground, or is some sort of stormwater runoff, but it seems to be eroding the street here.

Several potholes along Woodstock street and intersection of Woodstock and High Street. Water, debris, and dirt collection is excessive.
