The city was out filling pot holes on Azalea and in Summerwood Court yesterday and today. This is constantly occuring because the Summit Apartment Complex is directing run off water down onto Azalea. There is a buried system that releases water close to the street. In the winter time, this is quite dangerous because it creates frequent icing near the traffic slowing area. This area is unkept and a blight on our neighborhood. The problem in Summerwood Court is that there was orriginally a storm drain grate that was filled in many years ago. A sink hole has opened up in the neighbor's yard where it used to be. This hole poses a danger. It is in line with the location of the constant patching a few feet into the yard.

At the intersecetion of Sweetbriar Dr. and Sweetbriar Circle in Winslow Farm Addition,(across from BHS South baseball field) the metal water cover has popped up. I looks like it is cracked/broken and someone needs to check on it as it could damage cars, tires or someone might step into the hole.

Can you tell me when 8th Street west of Adams will be patched or repaved? CBU finished replacing a water line weeks ago and coming and going is a jarring experience, especially treacherous by bicycle.

Hi there! My name is Melanie Nelson, I work in environmental services for Daly City. Our department is putting together a workshop on water conservation in the home as part of our "Going Green" series. We see it as a great way to protect the environment while also educating the community and saving them money, it's a win-win-win situation! Your page, http://bloomington.in.gov/waterwise , has been awesome as a guide for the event planning committee, and we can't thank you enough for posting it! The reason I'm emailing you is because a local middle school class has been helping us with the endeavor as a volunteer project and they (very proudly, I might add) found a great article here: http://www.improvenet.com/a/water-conservation-at-home . The article is a basic overview for children on water conservation in the home and its benefits, with links to several great sources for both children and adults. There is a giant hole in the alley way behind 809 S. Fess around where work was done on a manhole some time ago. The hole has gotten huge and when it rains it fills with water. Many cars use this alley to get to parking behind their houses. When filled with water, the hole can nearly swallow a small car. It continues to get larger as time is passing and is dangerous.

On Walnut Street northbound in front of the pet store near BHSS, there is a water/utility cover that is open or raised up in the street. I saw it yesterday, but hit it in the dark this morning.
