It looks like the photo I'm trying to send may not be working.. but anyway.. In front of 1309 South Lincoln is a gutter that is NOT accepting water..the issue is NOT a plugged gutter at the street level because I have cleaned it out myself.. THis has been going on for YEARS and I've reported it twice..The city looked into it and said that there is no blockage,, but since the water backs up at Every rain, the something is obviously wrong..If you can't get a full street view from the photo I've sent with this message let me know where I can send an email with a photo attachment..Thanks.. Water runoff is still an issue. I have reported this before and it is causing damage to my yard and basement. This area really needs a sidewalk or curb with storm drains.

There is no drainage system on Olive street just south of Hillside. Additionally, Ridgemont Ct runoff gathers here as well. Cars try to drive through wich causes waves to sending more water into the effected houses. 18" in the street. Years of neighbors and past residents call for help have garnered no response from the city.

She represents the Woolery Mills HOA. Indicated the resident at 2416 Woolery Mill Dr had water in their crawlspace last weekend. They checked and found a drain not functioning and didn't know if it was City responsibility. She emailed pictures.

Attn Phil/ and ED, I have doubts a foot more will be deep enough. I have heard the roar of racing water in my backyard. It has moved some of the 30 to 40 pound stones I have placed to slow the erosion. Please consider a deep ditch. Thanks

I received the following email: Last year, you helped me and my neighbors deal with some of the water runoff plaguing our yards by installing a new storm sewer manhole. At the time, you mentioned the possibility of adding another slotted drain higher up on the alley to deal with the water that comes down the alley and into my yard. Do you think this is a possibility in the near future? In April, my backyard again was badly flooded with water coming in two streams: down the alley and from Woodlawn. BoI have discussed with Thrasher Landscaping possible remedies. They would involve adding pipes that would attach to the city pipes in my front yard. I am contacting you to see if this is possible. We need to be careful to aid damaging the existing city pipes that run through my side yard. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for the help you provided last summer.

Hi, The stormwater drains in this neighborhood are no longer able to process light rain. Since the Echo Park subdivision was built, we have noticed an increase in the amount of water collecting near the drains. Historically, the drains have not processed the stormwater quickly enough so the water pools in the street causing traffic and parking disruption. We would like to find a solution to this stormwater and runoff issue. Thanks, Gavin Kelly

Ms Dwyer contacted me last week and I met her at her house this morning. She is concerned about a sinkhole forming in her yard again and the amount of water that ponds on the south side of her house. This is a historical problem. We made some storm improvements in the alley east of her last year and hoped that would help solve some of her problems but she still has issues and would like to know what she can do. I told her I have asked our crews to video the storm sewer that runs along her yard to make sure the pipe is sound. I told her I would also check our sanitary sewer videos to make sure the sanitary sewer is sound. I explained I would be out of the office for about a week and would get back with her in a couple weeks to let her know what we have found.
