Ty left me a voice message indicating they were still having problems with water entering their building in the back alley and believed the Jordan Culvert reconstruction project from a few years ago was the cause.
Ms. Murzyn said they got water into the back of their building during several rain events this summer. She said they had a landscaper do some work but he said the city needs to put a curb on Covey Lane to keep the water from coming off the road.
Kathy Curry left a voice message for me on 10/2/14 saying she has concerns about the drainage system going through her yard and how it's retaining water. She wants to make an appointment to discuss it.
There is an inordinate amount of water that comes off 2nd St in a big drain pipe and into the backyards. Her neighbor enclosed a drainage swale and the pipe is not deep enough and now pushes water onto a different location on her property. She said a guy from the City came out before and said what her neighbor did on his property was wrong and changed things. She has hired a contractor to try and fix her property so it doesn't go in her crawl space but wants the city to look at it because she isn't sure she can do these things and isn't sure she is responsible.
She left a voice mail indicating her parents live at this address and have had problems with water damage and drainage for the last couple years. Water comes off neighbor's driveway and across road and down their driveway. She has pictures. She said she and her brother will be in town next week and want to try a resolve this issue. She wanted to know if she could send me pics, have someone look at it and let her know if it might be an issue with the road slope or if it's a private home issue. And if it is a private home issue, who she could call to help her fix it next week. She said she teaches so can't answer the phone but asked me to text her an email address so she could send the photos.

Yellowwood Ct. There is a city storm drain that dumps a river of water from the south side of my property all the way the way to the other end, then continues into the neighbors yard. As you can see in the attached photos, this is causing a great deal of soil erosion, property damage and negatively affecting the value of my home. When I purchased the home, I was told there were no issues with water. But I am now told by neighbors the previous owners spent a lot of time and money trying to repair the damage. Received this complaint information from Angie Grubb. She said this gentleman called on 6/4/14 to complain about runoff. He just bought the house and there is a swale that takes runoff from Maxwell Terrace but his neighbor put bricks in the swale causing the water to run onto his property. Is this legal?
Mr Kroener left a voice message yesterday indicating he owns the properties at 1306 and 1308 N Maple and they have a water problem. Runoff from the other development on the west side of the street crosses the street and floods their parking lot. He would like to make an appointment for me to come look at it.
This was originally a trouble report left on T&D voice mail on 5/22/14. I visited the site on 5/23 and met with her husband. They have had storm water problems since they moved into the house in 1999. During heavy rain storms, the water flows over the drive and into the garage. They have tried different things and currently have to keep sand bags in front of the garage door but the water still sometimes goes over them.
She called Roy Aten first and he forwarded it to me. She is concerned about water ponding in her drive and out into the street since the City put the curb in on Winfield.
