Please have someone check the fire hydrant at 3441 N. Windcrest Drive 47404. It has been dripping for at least one week and 3 days. The rate of drip has increased. Water drips from left side of hydrant, as one faces west. Have tried calling Kim Trotter at 812 349 3638. No one answers the call; left a message 7 days ago. Thank you.

We had a storm water drain added a few years back (THANKS- we really appreciate the added drain) - The issue is that the drain causes accumulation of standing water at the base of the drain. We have had an abundance of mosquitos the last few years - & last year Trudy contacted meningitis - so we want to be careful and mitigate any risk! Is there a way the drain basin could be have aggregate (stone or grave) to the standing water? We appreciate your help - Kevin & Trudy Keough -

Thanks for sending someone out to check E Windermere Woods Dr...there was one (filled with dirt) storm sewer drain but based on what I'm seeing this morning, I wondered if both of them might be clogged down there on the segment from Covenanter north to rounding the bend up into the condo village. A supervisor checked it (thanks) and said someone would be out next week to clean it out. If they could make sure all drainage along that segment is working that would be great. Lots of standing muddy water down there this morning. Tried to submit a photo but I'm not sure it's going through. Appreciate you all!

Gas utility dug up driveway and recently the new cement was put in but they left a large (heavy and immovable) clump on the lawn. Also the edge of the driveway is collecting water from the small ditch next to it they dug up. It’s been about a week now - I thought originally they might come back to take care of it.

There is some kind of water leak in the yard of the building on the corner of grant and Kirkwood. A new handicap spot was just given to the parking there, but water continuously flows down the sidewalk, which means that it turns to Ice in the winter. Not a great place to walk - especially if you are handicapped.

Our water usage volume has almost tripled in Jan, Feb and Mar of 2023 compared to Oct, Nov and Dec of 2022.From about 11K gallons to around 33K gallons per month. Something does not seem right. I believe our facilities manager did have a plumbing company look to see if they could find any issue but I don't believe they did. Can someone take a look at this issue? Good Street Dept. staff - bringing your attention to a street in the Park Ridge neighborhood: East Longview Ave. The photo shows some deterioration of pavement. Granted a water issue that is slowly being corrected by City staff though still an issue due to pooling water. You can see two layers of pavement coming up. WE were hoping the repaving on Longview would extend into the neighborhood but it stopped along the entry by the apartments. Please address this issue with patching or even better, milling and repaving. We would really appreciate the attention. We respect your huge responsibility all over the City and also our little corner. Thank you for considering this item - it is a well traveled road by neighbors, a bike path route so many bikers, walkers, etc. And those avoiding Pete Ellis and Third St. to travel east.
