Drainage from the football field covers the path from Olcott Park to JCMS with water (even after days with no rain). The water turns to ice when the temperature drops. Dozens of school children and community members use the path daily. I’ve seen school children slip and fall hard on their way to school. In past years the path is not adequately able to be maintained to remove the ice...the ice gets so thick that a general maintenance crew would not be able to remove it once it has formed. This path is often skipped by snow removal efforts (not sure if it’s City or MCCSC). Please consider a way to redirect this flow before someone gets seriously hurt. Thank you.

During rain, the surrounding mud and grime around the skatepark at the new Switchyard park drains into the park itself since there is no finished edgings. I don't know what sort of timeline the construction crews have on getting to this, but I just wanted to point out how bad it gets. Some friends had to get wet and dirty in order to unclog one of the drains and get the water out from the park. We had to get our own brooms out to clean this up later on after it had dried. I understand it's cold season and there may not be anything to be done, but I feel like it needs pointed out. The skatepark itself is wonderful, but the work around it has been poorly taken care of. One of the water hydrants at the Ferguson dog park has a cracked fitting and is continually spraying water.

The drinking fountain by the playground in Southeast park seems not to drain properly - all the water pours out underneath the bowl.

The water at Ferguson dog park has been shut off. This is a pretty big problem because dog owners have been taking their dogs here to exercise them expecting that the water will be on to hydrate their dogs. There's no sign or explanation about why the water is off or when it will be back on.

At Ferguson Dog Park there are a couple large mud pits. I and others have noticed there are dogs using the bathroom in these pits and i'm worried dogs will get sick. Not to mention how dirty they get. A lot of water is being wasted cleaning all the dogs. Is there a way these pits could get filled in? I would also like to thank you all for maintaining the dog park. We absolutely love going there and do so four times a week.

The culvert just next to 2680 S Wexley Road (latitude 39.1399, longitude -86.5131) needs cleaning. During rain several weeks ago, the water almost came to our door. It seems that this culver is neglected all the time; when they revised the culverts several years ago, this one was omitted. Often we do not see any flow, just standing water around it.

The Ferguson Dog Park has low lying areas in all three parts of it. It floods and there is standing water for days after a rain. Just needs a little dirt and some grass seed.
