The riser is damaged on our water meter pit at 1000 S. Madison. We called you guys about it several months ago (3 or 4). We were told it would be addressed asap and a CBU safety leg frame was put up over it (see attached photo). However, nothing has been done since and this is a bit of an eye sore. Will you please schedule someone to either come repair this or to just come retrieve your leg frame, as I am not happy with how it looks in my yard. I don't know if this is a problem or not. The water meter pit/hole in my backyard always has a puddle on top of it. I haven't tried to open the lid to see if the hole is full of water. I don't see it flowing under the fence into the parking lot. Do you have an explanation or will you investigate? Thanks Rich

Several water meters have been sitting on the sidewalk between 1034 and 1046 S. Colchester Ct. for the past two months since CBU’s contractor came through installing smart meters. Will someone come to get these?

We heard a noise last night and thought it was our furnace making sounds. We turned off the furnace this morning and the noise still happened. We contacted our HVAC person and he went in the crawl space and turned off the water by the edge of the house. The noise stopped. He then went and checked all our spigots and didn't notice any leaking. He then went to the street and noticed that there was water running from the street spigot. He got a wrench and turned off the water from the street and there was water overflowing in the container. The water has been running for at least all night that we know of. We don't ever turn off the water from the street, so don't know what happened. Also, we do not want to be charged for this excess water that we never used. Thank you. I am not sure if this is in relation to the new build next to us at 1110 S. Covenanter Drive.

My water meter is not on my property. It is located in the same hole as my neighbors who live at 2526 S Rogers. When the houses were constructed, the water meter was in their backyard. They remodeled adding a building and turning their yard into a driveway for the many vehicles they own. Their two Food Trucks, parked cars, food truck supplies and other items are in the location of the water meters. I have no access to their property. I have always wondered if my water read was correct. I live in a 900 sq ft home and am the only one living here. They have many many residents of their home, at least 6 or 7. At least7 or 8 vehicles use their driveway and park in the little yard they have left. I'm worried that where the meter is located may be making my meter read high. I would appreciate your investigation and a call with the results. I can't include a phoy As the meter is in their driveway.
