Hi, not sure what category this goes into...at the corner of Woodlawn & Southdowns, southeast corner, there's a big culvert on the east side, and this was blocked by leaves. When I walked by this morning the ditch was 4' deep full of water and spilling over the road; on my way back a guy & his dog were trying to clear out some of the leaves. Just north of 926 S. Highland Ave., a 15 ft area of the west side of the street (and storm drain) has crumbled to gravel-size and larger chunks of asphalt. As result of an earlier complaint, a small part was patched with blacktop that has now crumbled. My concern is not the ugly appearance. If we have a 5-10 year rain storm, the runoff down S. Highland easily will clog the storm drain underneath a parking area (owned by the city) in front for my home and likely will flood the first level of my home. I have observed the enormous flow of water in the storm drain during normal heavy rain and am certain an unusual downpour will now cause flooding. Please consider sending a truck to remove the street/storm drain debris.

He reported this as a storm sewer issue at first and Tony E. told him all we could do is build up the berm to help keep the water from running into his garage. Mr Mcconnaughy called me and said that's not what he wants. He says the street dept. keeps patching the asphalt in the alley and now it is too high and that causes the water to drain into his garage. He wants the asphalt lowered from University St to his garage (he said about 20') so the existing rock berm he already has will keep the water out of his garage. I told him I would refer this to Street Dept.
